Your Apple Music library
Playthrough asks for access to your Apple Music library. It uses that access on your device to show your albums with their artists, genres, labels, and composers, and to play your music. Your library is never sent to us.
What stays on your device
To stay quick, Playthrough keeps a cache of your albums' details on your device, along with your settings. None of it is sent to us.
iCloud sync
The tags you create, the tags you pin or hide, and your album stack are kept in your own private iCloud database, so they follow you between your devices. Only you can read that database; we have no access to it. It is stored by Apple under Apple's iCloud terms.
No servers of our own
Playthrough connects only to Apple's own services: Apple Music to play your music, iCloud to sync, and the App Store for purchases. It contains no analytics, advertising, or crash reporting code, and we have no server that receives anything from the app.
Playthrough Plus
Playthrough Plus is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app checks what you have bought with the App Store on your device. We never see your Apple ID or payment details.
Children
Playthrough is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top of it before the change ships.
