At a glance
- MidiMe sends MIDI only to the devices and computers you connect it to.
- Your presets and settings stay on your device.
- No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and we never sell or share your data.
MIDI connections
MidiMe sends MIDI notes and control changes to the destinations you connect it to: a computer or other device on your local network over RTP-MIDI, or a MIDI interface attached to your device. Those messages go directly from your device to the devices you choose. They never pass through us.
While MidiMe is open, its network MIDI session is visible to other devices on your local network so they can connect to it.
What stays on your device
Your presets, the pad and keyboard settings in them, and which preset you last used are saved on your device. None of it is sent to us.
No servers of our own
Apart from the MIDI connections you make, MidiMe connects only to the App Store, for purchases. It contains no analytics, advertising, or crash reporting code, and we have no server that receives anything from the app.
Presets unlock
Unlimited presets are a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app checks what you have bought with the App Store on your device, along with whether you first got MidiMe before version 3.0, which unlocks presets for free. We never see your Apple ID or payment details.
Children
MidiMe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top of it before the change ships.
