No cables, no file server, no cloud. Matinee runs a small page on your Apple TV that any browser in the house can send to.

Open the address
Matinee shows an address on your TV. Open it in a browser on any phone or computer on the same network, or scan the QR code.

Enter the code
Type the code from the TV once and that browser stays paired. There's no account and nothing to install.

Drop in your videos
Drag in files or whole folders. They travel straight to your Apple TV over your home network and appear in the library as they arrive.

Matinee works out the title from the file name and finds the poster, backdrop, and synopsis. If it guesses wrong, Fix Match puts it right.

Episodes group into shows and seasons on their own, named from the folders you send them in when the file names don't say. Watched episodes are ticked off as you go.

Movies, shows, and home videos together
Every title lives in one library, filtered to what you haven't watched or sorted by what's new. Videos with no poster get a blank ticket with their name on it.
